Welcome to TBT Security Doors (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services, including consultation, quotation, sale, manufacture, supply, and installation of security doors and related products (collectively, the “Services”).
By engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part, you must not use our Services.
1. Definitions
“Customer,” “You,” “Your”: Refers to the individual or entity engaging our Services.
“Company,” “We,” “Us,” “Our”: Refers to TBT Security Doors.
“Services”: Consultation, quoting, sale, manufacture, supply, and installation of security doors and related products.
“Products”: Security doors, screens, and related hardware or materials supplied by us.
“Order”: Your request for Products and/or Services.
“Quotation”: Our written offer with details of Products, Services, pricing, and terms.
2. Quotations and Orders
Quotations are valid for 30 days from issue.
Acceptance requires written confirmation and payment of any specified deposit.
Orders may be declined at our discretion.
Variations must be in writing and may involve additional charges and lead time.
3. Pricing and Payment
Prices are stated in AUD (inclusive or exclusive of GST as specified).
20% non-refundable deposit required to commence manufacturing.
Balance payable on completion or delivery.
Payments accepted: credit card, bank transfer, cash.
Overdue payments may incur 2% monthly interest plus collection costs.
Title remains with us until full payment.
4. Manufacturing and Lead Times
All products are custom-made to your specifications.
Lead times are estimates only and may vary due to material shortages, shipping delays, weather, or suppliers.
Significant delays will be communicated.
5. Installation Services
Installation by qualified and experienced installers.
Customer must ensure safe and clear access.
Hidden obstacles (pipes, wiring, etc.) must be disclosed.
Minor cosmetic damage (paint chips, plaster cracks) is not our responsibility unless caused by negligence.
Customer must inspect work upon completion and report concerns immediately.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Provide accurate and complete information for quotations and orders.
Obtain necessary permits or approvals.
Provide a safe working environment.
Inspect delivered/installed products and report issues promptly.
7. Warranty and Guarantees
Products: 1 year warranty against material and workmanship defects (normal use & maintenance).
Installation: 1 year guarantee.
Warranty does not cover:
Misuse, abuse, accidents, neglect, improper maintenance.
Normal wear and tear, fading, or cosmetic imperfections.
Damage from unauthorized repairs/alterations.
Force majeure (extreme weather, acts of God).
Corrosion or damage from failure to follow cleaning guidelines.
Warranty claims must be made in writing within 7 days, with proof of purchase.
Australian Consumer Law rights apply (repair, replacement, refund for major failure, etc.).
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to:
Replacement or supply of equivalent Products.
Repair of Products.
Payment of replacement/repair costs.
Re-supply of Services.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g., lost profits or business).
9. Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, specifications, and intellectual property related to our Products and Services remain our property. They must not be copied or used without written consent.
